12 days Road Cycling Chile’s and Argentina’s Lake District Tour, New years Eve 2012

Cristian and his team are the BEST for travel in Chile. I found EcoTours online back in February 2011 for a cycling trip we wanted to take in December. Originally we asked EcoTours for a ~10 day cycling trip, but soon after planned our entire 3 week trip with them - Santiago, Easter Island, wine county tour, Valpariso tour, a cycling trip through the Lake/Volcano districts, transfers, airline tickets - EVERYTHING for 9 people. They were amazing. For pre-trip preparations, it became quickly clear that Cristian and his team were: super responsive, knowledgeable, competitively priced, experienced and a joy to work with. On day 1, we were met promptly at the airport and Cristian greeted us at our hotel. We felt fully supported the entire time and the EcoTours team exceeded our expectations. I could write essays on the details of our trip - but two things to take away from this review - you MUST visit Chile and you MUST use EcoTours! Becky Layton and friends, California, USA We just returned from 3 weeks in Chile. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Cristain of Ecotours Chile is a diligent, experienced, and an invaluable resource – he customized an itinerary which resulted in a fantastic journey – we toured Santiago, Valparaiso, Easter Island, and concluded our trip with a 12 day road cycling tour through the Volcano and Lakes district of Chile & Argentina. Our three weeks of travel went flawlessly, thanks to Cristain’s excellent guidance and spot on planning. Cristain also did a wonderful job meeting the needs of our group, a diverse set of cyclists. Guided by Ernesto and team, the rides were tailored upon request with considerate attention to each individual. Hotels were excellent. We were able to explore much more of Chile than we ever expected with a great group of people. If you are considering going to Chile, don’t hesitate, Ecotours Chile and Cristian will not let you down.
