Motus Boat Ride Half Day Tour

After breakfast we’ll go to the port Hanga Piko by car. From here we continue our trip by boat to the islands Motu Iti, Motu Nui and Motu Kao Kao from where you can see the ceremonial village of Orongo. Participants of the birdman competition had to swim to the island of Motu Nui in order to find the egg of the Sooty Tern. We navigate along the coast of the island and enjoy a beautiful view of the village Hanga Roa. We arrive opposite the ceremonial site Tahai where we see the monumental statues on their platforms as did the navigators in the 18th century. After that we will return to the port of Hanga Piko and then to the hotel.
