Terms and Conditions

ECOTOURS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. - All programs and/or excursions can be modified according to your requirements or your clients needs (if possible).

2. - All programs and/or services may be subject to modification by ECOTOURS in the event of force majeure.

3. - All quotations in USD and/or EUR have a validity of six months, excluding special force majeure circumstances.

Quotations include:

- Accommodation as indicated in each itinerary or similar, based on twin-bedded rooms (hotel, cabin or tents)

- Meals and beverage as indicated in the itinerary.

- Arrival and departure transfers between the airport and hotel. Transfers from the hotel to put-in and from take-out to hotel.

- All outdoor gear, except for personal equipment and sleeping bags.

- Services of professional guides and outdoor camp staff.

- Sightseeing, as indicated in each itinerary.

- Chilean taxes and National Park fees are included

- Tips are not included in our quotations.

4. - Limits on Responsibility

Ecotours is a legal entity duly existing and incorporated in Chile. It purchases transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant, services of professional guides, camp staff and other services from various independent suppliers (including but not limited to other Ecotours companies), that are not subject to its control. In addition, the programs include outdoor physical activity and contact with nature, involving some level of risk, depending on several events and circumstances over which Ecotours has no control.

Ecotours cannot therefore, be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur (a) due to any act or omission of any such supplier, or (b) by reason of any other event over which it has no control. Confirmation or payment of the tour constitutes your acceptance of the above exclusion of liability provision.

Ecotours also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations in the itinerary as it seems necessary or desirable, to refuse to accept or retain as member of the tour any person at any time, and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.

Cancellations:
From 120 to 90 days notice, Ecotours will refund the total cost of the payment.
From 90 to 45 days notice, Ecotours will refund 50% of the payment.
From 45 to 30 days notice, Ecotours will refund 25% of the payment.
From 30 to 1 days notice, Ecotours will not refund any money from the payment. 

Confirmation or payment of the tour cost constitutes your acceptance to the Terms and Conditions set out herein and in more specific pre-tour passenger documentation, including the Reservation Confirmation Form

 5. - Baggage
Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the tour. Ecotours Passenger Travel Protection Program with Interamericana AIG, which provides protection against loss and damaged luggage, is strongly recommended. Ecotours also recommends taking a private insurance against lost and or damaged baggage in land of origin.
