[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We have designed this incredible 6 day wine tour in Chile, so that you’ll be able to discover the top wine valleys near Santiago, being able to discover the  Maipo Valley, Aconcagua Valley, Casablanca Valley, Rosario Valley and Colchagua Valley.
On each valley you’ll be able to do wine tasting and tours on three different wineries each day, combining it with the best Chilean local cuisine and taste more than 50 glasses of wine during the entire experience.

Some of the wineries you’ll be able to visit are are: Perez Cruz, Santa Rita, Errazuriz, San Esteban, Emiliana, RE, Matetic, MontGras, Montes, Lapostolle and Viu Manent.
Check below some feedback on clients that had taken this tour with us:

We had six free days to fill while in the Santiago area. What to do? A web search stumbled upon the “Chile Wine Experience 6D Tour” offered by Ecotours. After some initial hesitation (Could we survive a six day wine tour? Ouch, the price! Do we dare do a wire transfer to someone we don’t know on the other side of the Equator?), we decided to jump in. Ecotours great reviews on TripAdvisor gave us some peace of mind.
It turned out to be one of traveling’s great experiences. The day-by-day tour details can be found on Ecotours website. While on initial reading, that write-up sounds a bit “fluffy”, it turned out to be spot on with our actual experience. Our driver Ricardo was more than just a “driver” – he seemed to know everyone, everywhere, and handled much of the travel logistics. Our guide Javier was a walking encyclopedia of Chilean history/geography/society/politics/vinology, with a wickedly funny sense of humor. They kept us easily entertained for all six days.
Seamlessly behind the curtain, Cristian was making sure that all went smoothly. We threw some initial sand into the gears when our flight out of Easter Island to Santiago took a multiple bird strike into the left engine upon take-off (my first aborted take-off), and we had to return to Easter Island. So we were delayed 12 hours. Nevertheless, when our replacement 767 arrived at Santiago, there were Ricardo and Javier at the airport, waiting to collect us.
The wine tour was more than just a seemingly endless string of wine tastings. The Chilean wineries provided a diverse collection of fascinating, culturally authentic architectures – not the faux chateaux of Napa. We also visited two superb museums as part of the tour: the Museo Andino at Santa Rita and the Colchagua Museum in Santa Cruz. At the top of the lodgings experience was La Casona on the grounds of Matetic Vineyards: a 7-room boutique hotel in a century old colonial style. And all the marvelous, wine-paired meals during the week – oh, my! The pacing during the tour was just right, not too fast, not too slow. The climax was, of course, the visit to Lapostolle in the Apalta Valley (the apex of Chilean wines) on the final day (clue: the founder’s middle name is Marnier, as in Grand…). Their production facility looks like a set from a James Bond thriller. The lunch on their restaurant porch overlooking the Valley was THE highpoint of the tour. It helps that Lapostolle is one of only two establishments in all of Chile in the Relais & Chateaux collection. Talk about finishing on a high point!
Altogether, we spent four weeks in Chile. Ecotours six day wine tour cemented our impressions: we love Chile!
