[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]One of the most exciting things to do at Atacama Desert is trying a Volcano ascend. We offer diverse ascends; hiking Lascar, Toco or Llullaillaco and can tailor made a tour for you if needed.
As well you can extend any of our tours at Atacama Desert and try a one day ascend on our last day, once you are acclimatized to altitude.
Check below a testimonial from one of our clients and join us!

We put together a trip to hike 4 different peaks over 4 days leading up to Lascar Volcano and Cerro Zapaleri on day 3 and 4. There was time to see the geysers, salt flats and flamingos throughout the trip. At 5600+ meters Cerro Zapaleri and it’s not particularly high by local standards, but it does have the distinction of being the precise location of the border between Chile, Argentina and Bolivia.
Daniel Rosas and our guide Mariano were  great.  He kept us motivated and safe especially at higher altitudes. He knew his way around the region knew how to the find trails heads and locations which were hard to find. He also had a great music mix which made the rally car style driving most mornings a ton of fun.
It was nice to have a smaller private group and more flexibility to go at our own pace and make changes to the final day of the trip. I would suggest Ecotours for more difficult hiking. There are cheaper tours if you prefer a larger bus experience to the geysers and other Atacama classics but there was real value with Eco tours for harder to find more unique experiences.
