Cycling our Chile Wine and Cycling Tour at Colchagua Wine Valley and Maula Valley is a superb experience. In 2006, the prestigious North American magazine Wine Enthusiast named the Colchagua Valley the best Wine Region in the World for the quality of its wines and the development associated with it. Colchagua Valley is one of the most up raising wine valleys worldwide and the most developed valley focused towards tourism industry in Chile.
Ecotours Chile Bike tour will take you to ride the Apalta area, visiting Neyen, Montes and Clos Apalta Valley. As well, the Millahue Valley as we cycle towards VIK winery and enjoy a delicious lunch with pairing. On some days, we’ll cycle towards different wineries, touring on them, doing wine tasting, enjoying pairings and being able to learn about Chilean culture and history.
This bike tour will head towards the coast as we enter the Maule Valley, where you’ll be able to cycle by different beach towns and admiring our Pacific ocean and cycle by the shores of the Maule River.
Our last days will be focused on Casa Bouchon Winery and Hotel, being able to visit other amazing wineries as Gilmore or Caliboro.

Itinerary
Today we'll depart at 09:00 hrs from Santiago to Colchagua valley with a pick up from your Hotel. Our first stop will be at Clos Apalta winery for a great lunch paired with their best wines, a 3 course lunch. Once the lunch ends we'll do check in at Hotel Noi Blend and continue with a bike fit and short ride of 14 kms that passes by Isla de Yaquil and ends at Los Maquis winery for an amazing wine tasting.
Today you'll have a free dinner at Noi Blend hotel and be ready for tomorrow ride.

Today we'll depart from our Hotel towards the Apalta Valley and start our day with a tour + wine tasting at Neyen winery.
Our ride will start from the Hotel towards El Huique town and passing next to the museum San Jose del Carmen. from there we’ll take a secondary road that has been asphalted just last year. The ride is flat, surrounded by vineyards and it takes 35 kms until Neyen winery. Once we end, we'll cycle the same road towards Montes winery at spectacular Francis Mallman restaurant for a superb 3 course lunch with wine parings.
At 15:30 hrs you'll enjoy a tour + wine tasting at Montes winery tasting some of their Icon wines.
Afterwards, we'll drop you off at Noi Blend Hotel and pick you up for a great dinner at Casa Colchagua restaurant paired with some nice Laura Hartwig wines.

Today we'll depart at 09:00 hrs toward VIK winery on a beautiful 60 kms ride by watermills on a quite road.
We'll arrive to VIK for lunch where you'll be able to enjoy a 6 course meals accompanied with their wines.
One lunch ends, we'll drive on the van back to Noi Blend hotel so you can relax in the pool.
We'll pick you up at 19:00 hrs for a deluxe dinner with Chef Pilar Rodriguez at her Wine & Studio open kitchen. You'll be able to enjoy a 7-course dinner accompanied with some of the best wines that Chile offers.

After breakfast, we’ll start a ride outside of Santa Cruz town and towards Lolol town. After 5 kms of riding, will start with a 2 km climb, admiring one of the best views of Colchagua Valley. Our ride will continue until arriving to Lolol village, a declared typical Chilean zone and National Heritage protected area, where you’ll be able to connect with old traditions of our history and enjoy a light lunch. After lunch, we’ll ride 44 Km until arriving to Bucalemu, a fisherman town, where you’ll be able to relax by the beach and admire the Pacific Ocean.
We’ll put the bikes on the trailer and drive only 3o minutes to Hotel Puerto Viejo with spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and a superb restaurant. Dinner will be on your own at their restaurant.

Cycling distance: 85 kms, 360 mts elevation gain

After breakfast, we’ll drive 30 minutes to the coastal fisherman town of Iloca. From there we’ll start our ride by different ‘Caletas artesanales’ that consist in the reconstruction of six artisanal coves in that region after the 2010 earthquake. The ride has some short climbs and great views of the Pacific Ocean, with a total of 65 kms until we arrive to our Banco de Arena Hotel, next to the Maule River and Constitucion town.
Today we’ll enjoy lunch at their restaurant and relax with a cold beer or pisco sour.

After breakfast, we’ll depart from the Hotel with a nice climb towards San Ramon town. From there we’ll enjoy a flat route that will take us to Casa Bouchon winery and boutique hotel. They will be waiting us with a spectacular lunch accompanied by their best wines. At the afternoon we’ll have a tour plus wine tasting at the winery.

After breakfast, we’ll depart from the Hotel with a short ride of 17 kms to Gillmore wines where we’ll do a tour plus wine tasting at morning. Then we’ll add 42 kms to our next stop at the Caliboro reserve where we’ll visit Erasmo winery to enjoy an amazing local lunch and taste their wines. After lunch you can return cycling to Bouchon winery adding a complete loop in the region with a total of 104 kms.
At nigh we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner at Casa Bouchon restaurant.
