Come and experience a perfect journey toward Chilean winemaking excellence, exploring the origins and delicate process behind each bottle, along with a private tour of the gardens, winery, and interior of the Don Melchor de Casa Concha estate.

Maipo valley is nestled between two mountain ranges, the Andes and the Coastal Mountains and Chile’s capital, Santiago sits in the middle. Winemaking in the Maipo valley today ranges from tiny boutiques efforts to large-scale multimillion liter production centers, from nascent dreams to time – honored traditions, from industrial scale to biodynamic and everything in between.

The Maipo Valley wine region is one of the most important wine-making regions of Chile. This region is situated just south of Chile’s capital city of Santiago, extending east to the Andes Mountains and west to the coast. The Maipo Valley is well known for producing some of the most prestigious Chilean wines, with the region often being referred to as the Bordeaux of South America. The most famous wine of the Maipo region is the Cabernet Sauvignon which is extremely rich and fruity. The Maipo Valley is the heart of viticulture in Chile as this is where the first vines in the country were planted in the 1540s.

Tasting of 5 glasses: Three from the exclusive Don Melchor plots, the fourth glass corresponds to the blend of the 3 plots, and the fifth tasting is Don Melchor’s current vintage. All the latter are paired with a cheese table to enhance your wine-tasting experience.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit the Don Melchor Collection Room, where all vintages, from the inaugural release in 1987 and continuing to the present, are available for purchase.

Located in the heart of the historic heritage of Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, at our Casona you can enjoy a unique gastronomic experience, where excellence and quality come together to deliver a personalized experience with a perfect three-course menu designed by our chefs to perfectly pair our finest wines.
